BATYOT Success!
Another fantastic Be A Tourist In Your Own Town celebration has come and gone, but with it brings the anticipation of making the event even better next year. With a pleasantly unexpected increase of visitors to our facility, we were nearly overwhelmed by the excitement of our guests as the toured, tasted, and learned about our coffee.
I wanted to take a moment and thank all of my associates that helped to make the Be A Tourist In Your Own Town a great success. We had a dramatic increase in the number of people that came to see what Paramount Coffee was all about. In the past, we estimated 1000 people for the event. My estimate for this year would be closer to 1,500 guests.
To the people of the Greater Lansing area that came to visit us, a sincere thank-you. It is a pleasure to share our story with you, from the snapshots of days gone by, through every step of the tour. We hope that you were engaged, and left with a little more knowledge, and the desire to truly enjoy our coffees.
We look forward to having you back again next year as our story continues to unfold.
Thank you for 75 years!
Special thanks to Deana, Angela, Sue, Andrew, Zach, Angelo, Wes, Bob, and Timmy for all your help.

BATYOT 2010
An acronym we love here in Greater Lansing--it's the 16th annual Be A Tourist In Your Own Town celebration!
Saturday, June 5th from 10am to 4pm, we will be opening our doors to the public during the festivities. Visitors can come in and sample our coffee, learn about coffee and the roasting process, learn about our company, and take a tour of the facility. Our tours will be led by Angelo Oricchio, our Chairman and CEO, as well as our buyer and coffee artisan; Brad Westen and Zach Olsen, two of our Sales Executives; and Wes Baker, our manager of plant operations.
Admission is free when you purchase a "Be a Tourist Passport" for just $1.00, and we have plenty of *parking space for our visitors. Or, if you tour on the CATA, find us on the Downtown Lansing "Red Route". And while you're here, be sure to grab a coupon, good for 10% off an online purchase at www.paramountcoffee.com/shop.
