Together with One BIGG Island In Space® (OBIIS), we are changing the way coffee is bought and sold around the world; looking for millions of pounds of coffee from producers that are doing the right thing for their people, for the planet, and for their communities.

How is Farm-Direct Different?

Without farmers, there is no coffee.

Going beyond fair trade and beyond organic; we call it Farm-Direct. Buying coffee directly from our farm partners eliminates steps and costs and in turn, the savings are passed on to the producer/farmer so that they get an economically sustainable price.

How do we know our farmers?

We’re proud to know our producers.

We travel the world creating connections and nourishing relationships. We go see for ourselves, walk the fields, take meals with the families and workers on the farm.

The Coffee Journey

The Challenge

Biggby Coffee's commitment to 100% Farm-Direct Coffee by 2028.

Bob and Michelle Fish accepted the goal of changing the way BIGGBY® COFFEE purchases its coffee. Instead of a broker system, the coffee would be purchased directly from the farm through their 'One BIGG Island in Space (OBIIS)' entity. By partnering with Paramount Coffee as their supplier, OBIIS is well on their way to meeting that goal!
